ROOTED IN RESOLVE

DROWNING OUT THE NOISE WITH RESOLVE

When you set a Resolve, you are not daydreaming.

You are not hoping.

You are not wishing on a wing and a prayer.

You are declaring.

Resolve is an intentional decision of the heart.

It says I am beginning with the end in mind and I fully intend to finish what I start.

So you map it out.

The jog turned into a walk.

Fear chimed in real confident

Pity leaned over and whispered

Just stop now. Quit while you’re ahead. You will be fine.

And for a moment you paused.

Not because they were right.

But because you listened.

You considered their voices.

You replayed their messages.

And suddenly they were echoing in unison in your head.

That is how momentum gets interrupted.

But here is the shift.

Right when the noise got loud

something else got louder.

Truth.

As if the baton of hope and truth was suddenly passed back into your hands.

And you grabbed it.

Because you remembered what was already hidden in your heart.

Not opinions.

Not emotions.

Not assumptions.

Truth.

God’s Truth.

And that is when Resolve stood up again.

Resolve is the stance you committed to with ten toes down.

Resolve does not negotiate with old patterns.

Resolve does not revisit sabotaging cycles.

Resolve does not ask fear for permission.

Resolve aligns thoughts beliefs and actions with purpose

regardless of feelings fear or familiarity.

Resolve says,

I am not running this race fueled by noise

I am running it anchored in truth.

So you stop entertaining the lies.

You stop rehearsing the doubt.

You stop letting noise run the narrative.

You focus on truth.

You speak truth.

You replace lies with truth.

Every time.

You tap into your Helper.

The Holy Spirit.

Not for hype.

For help.

You renew your mind.

You lift your head.

And you start running again.

Not frantic.

Not fearful.

But focused.

Because when Resolve is anchored in truth

you don’t just start strong

you finish well.
